The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is a fast-casual Greek food restaurant in Mt Pleasant, SC. We are professional, agile, and customer-centric. Our work environment allows for growth and learning in the food industry.

General Managers

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager with a proven record of being a great team leader and inspiring staff. The Restaurant Manager oversees the restaurant’s day-to-day operations and ensures that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Controls profit & loss, by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, and taking appropriate actions.
  • Works hand in hand with Kitchen staff on day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining adequate stock to meet operational needs.
  • Ensure company policies and food standards are followed.
  • Ensure service standards are met, and all employees focus on providing excellent service.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires team members, conducts performance appraisals, takes disciplinary action, motivates, and trains.
  • Provide leadership and direction to all team members to ensure efficient operation.
  • Conduct team management and team meetings to discuss operations procedures, store promotions, safety, security, training, etc.
  • Ensures maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds
  • Promote, support, and encourage local marketing to increase restaurant sales. Involved with the community to represent the restaurant and company and build relationships in the local market.
  • Ensures local health and safety codes and company safety and security policy are met.
  • Ensures a safe working environment by facilitating safe work behaviors and training employees on safety practices.

Required Skills And Requisites

  • Must have a true passion for food and quality. The RM will ensure that all employees prepare and serve quality food that meets established standards.
  • Strong focus on quality control. Ensure that employees properly handle and prepare food, following all sanitation and safety procedures, to produce the freshest product.
  • Hands-on management style, this position is expected to work alongside employees in the restaurant while also overseeing the operation.
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to convey information and ideas through a variety of media;
  • Leadership qualities. Must be able to build a team and align employee actions with the plans established to achieve business goals. Requires the ability to inspire confidence and gain the respect of the kitchen team, supervisors, and owners.
